Episode 34 - Searching Hearts: College Students Discern Their Call
Recorded onsite at the University of Connecticut, this discussion features students candidly sharing about their vocational discernment journeys. Whether feeling drawn to the priesthood or religious life, to the single life, or to living in a marriage where the couple is an icon, a “window to heaven”—in the discernment of all of these vocations, a relationship with Jesus Christ is experienced by the students as being foundational. They recount that Mass and Scripture, Eucharistic adoration, the sacrament of Reconciliation, and the ministry of the FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) missionaries have all been instrumental in the spiritual and human growth that is helping to illuminate their vocational path.
As for discovering the call? One of the students offers this advice: “Learn to love Christ and He’ll lead you where you need to go.”
